"Though each planet has its own quality of life, there are certain things and patterns that are common. Firstly, not many people stay in one place, even in the big nations people hop planets, wanting to explore more of the sector they live in. This is also made easier with the comsotrains. However, some planets have strict policies against leaving, with some people being too valuable for the governments to let go off, but most of these acts are seen illegal and are not publicized. Some humans are born on stations or spaceships and do not really have a home planet, nor real identification. In that case, the captain of the ship or the head administrator of the station gives the person a decree, upon which he is a Free-roamer, who’re allowed to come to any planet in the sector to claim citizenship, or to keep independence. However, a Free-roamer is then not considered a citizen at all, and can be in danger or be dangerous themselves. Free-roamers are extremely rare, since they either settle down or die too young to be recognized."
